The houses of Ebel watchmakers enjoy a worldwide acknowledgment as “architects of the time”. They create models, which are distinguished by their visionary inspiration. As true architects they possess the ability to build on traditions and are nevertheless inspired by constant striving for innovation. All Ebel Watches are characterized with the confession of uniqueness and quality. This striving is clear by a number of its distinctive design characteristics, by which one can recognize on an Ebel Watch at first sight, because they are indelibly imprinted. Apart from the sporty chronographs for gentlemen, Ebel is particularly famous for its delicate, feminine ladies models. These are of popular historical and current Ebel collections: 1911 Chronograph, 1911 Lady, Classic Wave, Beluga, E-Type, Discovery and Sportwave. . With the collection 1911 BTR (Back to the roots) a recollection of the classical Ebel models takes place in easily modified, modernized Design: larger housing (44.5 mm) and broader steady rest. An important emphasis here are the internal calibers of 137/139 (automatic chronograph), 240 (automatic GMT) and 288 (automatic Chronograph of perpetual calendars), which underlines the intensified orientation on high-quality watch mechanics. All models of the 1911 BTR editions are propelled by internal mechanical calibers, which are developed, installed and tested in the Swiss Ebel studio. Each of these Watches possesses a COSC certification as a chronometer.
